In 2008 Normoyle Engineering completed four ventilation stacks for the Melbourne East Link. Normoyle Engineering was the first company to use Solid 3D parametric computer modelling to manufacture a construction project structure and façade. The parametric model allowed continuous modifications to the 3D structure which would automatically update the associated components, sheets, tooling paths and all assemblies. The project was an excellent example of what we can achieve with our in-house 3D modelling capabilities and understanding of how to use 3D modelling in manufacturing and installation to control architectural requirements, dimensions and aesthetics.
